NSE in circular(See) declared that trading will start at 9 a.m in morning from December 18 Friday,news came behind declaration of BSE that they will open at 9.45 a.m from friday onwards.They too changed timing to 9 a.m
Sensex closed at 16912, up 36 points and Nifty at 5042, up 9 points from the previous close. CNX Midcap index was up 0.29% and BSE Smallcap index was up 0.34%. Top Nifty gainers included Idea Cellular, Tata Motors and Mahindra & Mahindra while losers were Axis Bank, JP Associates and SBI.
