Nifty float between 5080-5120 levels whole day

It was a quiet and flat close to a day which saw some choppiness towards the latter half of the trading session. Sensex closed at 17195.2, down 36 points and Nifty at 5108.85, down 10 points from the previous close. CNX Midcap index was up 0.5% and BSE Smallcap index was up 0.9%. The market breadth was positive with advances at 652 against declines of 614 on the NSE. Top Nifty gainers included Jindal Steel & Power, Suzlon Energy and SBI while losers included Bharti Airtel, Reliance Infrastructure and Sun Pharma.
